Professional History
Dr. Kern is the founding member and managing partner of Bridgewater Pediatrics. He has enjoyed the practice of general pediatrics for over 30 years. Starting as a solo practice, Bridgewater Pediatrics has grown to include 5 pediatricians, 8 nurse practitioners, 3 behavioral health clinicians, 2 lactation consultants, and a nutritionist. In 2010, Bridgewater Pediatrics joined the Pediatric Physicians' Organization at Children's, and is a preferred member of Boston Children's Hospital Primary Care Alliance. For the past several years, Bridgewater Pediatrics has earned the Reader's Choice Award for best primary care practice in the southeast region.
I have enjoyed the practice of general pediatrics for over 30 years. My ambition is to nurture children and families so that they can flourish. I utilize a holistic, family-centered approach to pediatrics, emphasizing the care of physical, emotional, academic, and spiritual needs of children. My goal is to provide high quality pediatric medical care in a caring, compassionate manner.
